How the daily mystery footballer works.
Daily Player is a free Wordle-style football guessing game on Scoretify. Every day at midnight UTC a mystery footballer is picked from the top-5 European leagues, and you have 8 guesses to find them. After each guess the game tells you how close you are on nationality, position, age, league and club.
The pool holds every player with 10 or more appearances in the current or previous season of the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga or Ligue 1 — about 2,800 footballers, refreshed after each transfer window.
Yes. The mystery player is the same for every visitor on a given UTC date, so scores are comparable and shareable — like Wordle. Yesterday's puzzles live in the archive.
